SW09 SP3.0

I patterned an assembly feature cut with .5" spacing. So far so good. I adjusted some dimensions on the cut and/or number of instances on the pattern and now the pattern spacing jumps 10x to 5". The dimension still says .5" but the distance between centers measures a full 5". So the work-around is to change the dimension to .05" to yield .5" but, how do I know it wont "snap" back in future? Anyone seen this before?

Sure sounds like a bug. Have you reported this to your VAR?

Can you reproduce similar errors in other assemblies?

I have seen this once before but, as usual, I had responsibility to get real work done and just did what I had to without digging into it.

If I delete the pattern and start it again, I get the same 10x factor.

If this is a bug, this sloppiness is getting scary. If a feature fails or system crashes, that's one thing. But the interface secretly scaling features 10x with no warning is going to cost people REAL money in mistakes. No?

I'm also using SW09-SP3 but cannot reproduce the problem.

Suggest you create an Rx video and submit to your VAR.
