As long as I stay within the 8" limit? Or do I need a different WPS which would have 14" within the range?

Jan 21, 2011 #2 DVWE Petroleum Joined Apr 5, 2007 Messages 2,373 Location US You are limited to 8" Base Metal thickness with your current WPS. Read QW-202.2(b) which allows you to weld unlimited Base Metal thickness with the qualification of a partial penetration groove weld. Upvote 0 Downvote
