ASME B31.3 elongation strains

ASME VIII Div 1 Paragraph UG-79 has cold forming fiber elongation limits and corresponding equations in Table UG-79-1 to calculate fiber elongation strains.

ASME B31.3 only has the limits with no equations. Does anyone know where the equations are in ASME B31.3? I'm sure I saw them in B31.3 last year, but they seem to have disappeared.

It seems odd that B31.3 would set strain limits without providing equations.

I assume you’re referring to para 332.4 and table 331.1.1.
In which edition have you seen the equations for the last time?

It was only a few months ago therefore it would have been the 2018 edition, however I can't find it in any edition.
B31.3 needs this fibre elongation equations otherwise an inexperienced engineer would have to guess or derive from fundamentals how to calculate fibre elongation? This doesn't make sense.

I had two ASME fibre elongation tables like Table UG-79-1 in front of me. One with a % sign at the end of the equations and one without. I had e-mailed ASME to query why they were different and now I can't find one of the tables.
