hi all,
i need your help, what is the recommended books for study of reinforced concrete and prestress concrete which using SI units for beginner to middle ya?

M.A.

That will probably require two separate books.

For prestressed I can recommend "Design of Prestressed Concrete" by Arthur H. Nilson, if it's still available.

I found the textbook for the reinforced concrete I took to be confusing so I won't list it.

I agree with Archie264 that you will require two books.

For reinforced concrete, I recommend "Design of Reinforced Concrete" Seventh Edition by Jack McCormack. It is an old edition (ACI 318-05) and is available at a very reasonable price used from many sources.

Prestressed Concrete by T.Y Lin and Ned Burns, still available. Very extensive and easy to understand.

What code?
