hi, I want to ask about API piping inspector certificate (API 570) and API pipeline inspection certficate ( API 1169), what is the difference between them, and can I take them online?

1169 is a new certificate and pertains to building of new cross country pipelines.
570 is inspection of in-service piping generally a terminal or refinery.
I believe they have to be taken at an API test site. I do not believe they can be taken on-line but I may be mistaken. check out api.org it willlist test dates and locations
