Hi guys. I'm trying to run down a datasheet for a Slagle shell and tube exchanger. I assume Slagle went belly up. Web search returned nothing. ANybody know what happened to Slagle or any idea where all the data files went? Thanks guys! Pete

Hi Ed. They were in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

After a bit more research I found a 2007 obit for Mr. Slagle. The question now is what happened to all the files from Slagle Manufacturing. I can get the drawings from the National Board but I need the thermal design datasheet.

Assuming that you found this obituary:
"He sold the company in 1978".

If you are really desperate, I guess in 1978 this would have been newsworthy in Tulsa, and that the local paper would have an article on it.

Probably on microfilm. Maybe in the Tulsa library if the newspaper is no longer in existence.

After John Slagle past away, his wife named Pat ran the company. Back in 1970 -1990, I had a computer service named "Gulley Computer Associates" that had thermal design software that Slagle used. I checked our storage but did not find anything helpful.

Thanks for checking srfish. Much appreciated. I've also tried contacting Rick Worsham of Worldwide (formerly of Yuba and SST) to see if he knows anything but no luck yet. SST was a partnership between Slagle and Worsham I believe. Thanks again.
