Ansys APDL Beam Sections Update Elements

Hi!

I have a Ansys APDL question. If i define some different beam section types, choose the first one and define nodes and create one element between the created nodes and run the simulation. If i then want to use another sections and run another solution and compare the result, do i then need to delete the created elements and select the other section and re-draw elements or can i just choose my new section and click an update elements or something?

Hi!
Have a look at: [pre]EMODIF[/pre] found in the APDL command reference. Use the selection logic of NSEL and/or ESEL to select the appropriate elements.
