Amada 2415 How to cut ABS?

I don't see why the regular 3/8" factory settings wouldn't work on this?

The machine I bought came without any cutting parameters for plastics - only for metals.
I did try to cut 1" round test circles from the ABS a few days ago and the result was catastrophic.
At first the laser did not pierce the ABS and the cut was made only half way deep, the amount of smoke that filled the room was hideous.
Then on the second try the laser did pierce and made a cut, but it came out cone like.
I lowered the power and the 3rd and 4th circles could not be cut and alot of smoke came out.
On the 5th circle the nozel touched the ABS and a circle could not be cut even though I rised the power, I figured something went wrong.
I opened the lense and it was all white, when I tried to take the lense out of its housing the lense broke to many pieces.
That's when I called the customer and told him I will not cut plastic.
Sad but true
If anyone would have taken a picture of the correct cutting parameters or even some good guidelines I would have saved this new lense....
