Anyone know how to remove the alternate assembly feature after setting it up. It was ok when I started but now with design changes it's limiting some of the Solid Edge capabilities I now need. Any ideas?

Hi,

AFAIK: you can't change it back to a 'normal' assembly. When
there is no backup copy of the assy *before* it was converted
you have to rebuild it or live with it

Go to the familiy of assemblies tab and select the member you wish and then click on "save member as" button and give it a name. This creates a new assembly file that does not have families and it is configured in the position you selected.
