Additive materials to resist water absorption

Hi all - I'm looking to additively manufacture a part that will be submerged in water for an extended period of time. I'm curious if you have any recommendation in material selection?

You're giving woefully insufficient information. Resist for how long and by how much? What does the part have to do? What are the environment extremes? Form follows function, etc.

I believe Acetal is 3d printable and has low moisture absorption characteristics.

ABS is fine in water.
Avoid nylons apart from nylon 12.

I'd hesitate to 3d print acetal/POM resin at home. It's probably one of the trickiest resins to print with, and if you screw up it releases toxic formaldehyde fumes.

I have a structural PLA part that has been submerged in fresh water for 3 years in the California sun. It is still perfectly functional.
That said, PLa is crap, and unless it works with your spcific use case, it will not work!! what is your use case?
