Is it possible to add new parts to a stressed/deformed shape in ansys ?.
Problem: A clamping structure bends around a pipe and a weld has to be made after the clamp tightend up.
Current solution with ekill-ealive/upcoord/Low E modulus proves good results but still a lot of problems with the initial stress level in the weldment. Also a lot of convergence problems depending on the mesh sizing...
Another approch was to define the contact in a later step but it seems as it goes back to the original database so the stresslevel is high
