Hi Guys

I have a question about linear modal time history in SAP2000.. Is it necessary to define acceleration loads as shown in the attatched picture?

I assume that the software solves the equation of motion mu''+cu'+ku=F(t) and so far I thought that I only needed to define external forces F(t) in the load case data form.. But now I am not sure..

Thanks,
ea
