Abrasive Blast Spec

I need to add texture to an aluminum surface before black anodizing to reduce reflectivity in an optical system. For prototypes I just noted "sand blast" but I need an actual (MIL perferred) spec for this process. The machine shop wasn't much help.

Any thoughts? At least maybe a grit/nozzle/pressure call out would suffice?
