Hi all
i got a drawings for antenna tower made of steel pipes as main legs and angles as diagonals and Horizontals.
the main question is that i found the size of some angles followed by Indication (SL V) what this indication refer to?

One more related abbreviation is LLV (Long Leg Vertical)

Two other abbreviations often seen are SLO (Short Legs Outstanding) and LLO (Long Legs Outstanding)

Not mentioned yet probably because it is too obvious is LLBB (long leg back to back) and SLBB (short leg back to back.) This is the way the ASD manual describes double angles but without the abbreviations. It's nice to know the others too.
