Yield Strength for ASTM A441-63 plate steel

I have a plate girder bridge built in 1969 that specifies A441 (AASHO M188) steel for some of the plates. The plates of interest are 1" thickness.

The online resource we have from ASTM only has the 1979 and later versions of the spec. According to an article from Steelwise magazine, the 1963 version of the spec would have been the one active at the time, but I can't seem to find it.

BridgeSmith - See the attached - not sure if this helps you or not. It's from the AISC steel manual Seventh Edition (Its specification was for 1969).

The table - for 1" steel plates seems to indicate 46 ksi yield.

I found the following info. ASTM A441 High-strength Low-alloy Structural Manganese Vanadium Steel if this helps.

Awesome Thanks everyone! All 3 sources say 46 ksi, so I feel confident in using (or rather letting the contractor's demo plan designer use) that value.
