Have a look at www.process-informatik.de They have ethernet interfaces that will work with the S7 software and plug into the programming port on the S7 200 or S7 300 PLC. You connect your laptop via a hub or ethernet cross over cable.

I know the weight of material in a feed screw. The feed screw runs at a constant speed. How do I calculate the flow of material in Kg/Min? Any help would be appreciated?

Have a look at the Moeller Electic Wiring Manual. It includes sample cirucits for all types of motor control, including Multi-speed contactors/star-delta contactors/DOL contactors/Automated pump control. It shows the motor wiring as well as the control wiring.

Hi, I am looking for information on different cables and connections used to connect Siemens PLC to OP's and PG's. Are all the connections to OP's the same? Is there a manual/data sheet available to download showing all connections? Thanks.
