com profibus 3.3, IM308C online problems 1

Hi,

I am trying to set up a profibus system using Siemens IM308C card. To program the flash memory card in the IM308C card I must first download the operating system to the card but when I try this the option is grayed out within the com profibus software.
Has anyone else ever used and IM308C?
did you have the same problems?

I am using Com Profibus v3.3 on a laptop running WIN98 and the CP5511 interface card.

it's been a long time since I have been down that road, but I am sure that with 'newer' IM308C's it is not neccesary to download the operating system, as they come with the operating system already loaded. Maybe that is why the option is greyed out! Just a guesss!
