Dear freinds

RE: Need to Know about Thermochromic paints...

If you are speking of the thermal paints used in extremely high temperature model testing (ie gas turbine, jet engine combustion components) you will need to speak with Rolls Royce. As far as I know this testing, including paint pigement composition and chemical makeup is propritary and patented with Rolls Royce for their jet engine and gas turbine programs. I have been involved with and assisted in the performing of this testing in large frame gas turbines. The results are very good information when testing various component and module cooling schemes in high temperature environments. From what I understand their composition is a closely gurded secret however someone must know. Maybe you can talk with someone there.

Hope this helps

I have to give a presentation on "Thermochromic paint and its application". We have a FURNACE and SECONDARY REFORMER+TRANSFER LINE  where this paint is used.At the time of failure of inner refractory material the high temperature causes hot spot which results in change of colour of externally applied thermochromic paint.....
If you have an idea how i can get a simulation and material about THERMOCHROMIC paint....and what i have to include in my presentation?
