thread380-428501: Dr Abe on Windows 10

I just wanted to add a solution to this 6 year old thread that was the only thing I could find regarding my problem with Dr.ABE_Blank disabling the Auto Execute and Make Sheet buttons. I had freshly installed the program to a new PC, finally got through some permission drama to get my backups imported and then discovered these crucial buttons were greyed out.

Turns out, the "Current Machine Drive Information" it's referring to is in the top left of the screen with the picture of your machine. For whatever reason the imported backup does not bring in the [Machine Name].dri file to the C:\Program Files(x86)\Amada\AI-CAM\Drivers folder along with the rest of your settings. If you go into your Dr ABE Install ISO and search for "Driver" you'll find a folder containing a selection of machines. Copy the most relevant file over and ensure it's showing up in the drop-down box at the bottom of the "Machine Information" section. My button lit up immediately afterwards.

Hope this helps someone else down the road!
