We etch part numbers and other information on our parts. Very often, the dot of an "i" and a the center of a hyphen will be processed and have a mark called a center punch mark. When etched, the text that is labelled a mark is removed, and a large cross is placed. I'm wondering why the text is being automatically replaced with center punch marks, and how we can avoid this. Our DXF files look fine. It looks like an issue arising in processing.
