Just to share in case someone is looking into how to avaoid load transfer into bracings when area loads are used in Etabs.
I found above thread (thread801-321954) but it is not possible based on above.
But try following.
Select the bracings
Go to Assign >> Frame >> Select Frame Floor Meshing Options
Select "Do not include Seleceted frame objects in mesh"
