I referr some book for basic information and also read those trends but I have some questions regarding it
1) same formula for zi,zn and zk profile?
2) how to calculate points for tool?
3) can anyone please explain me how to calculate for tool
I can share some details of zi worm
Center distance =50.80mm
Reference diameter =24.76mm
Overall diameter =32.38mm
Root diameter =15.82mm
Base diameter =9.54mm
Addendum =3.81mm
Dedendum=4.4744mm
Axial pitch =11.969mm
Tip width=2.86mm
Normal pressure angle =20
Axial pressure angle =20.13
Transverse pressure angle =67.20
Lead angle =8.45
Base lead angle =21.45

RE: Worm gear zi

I've looked and haven't found formulas. The most I've seen is a listing of the deviation of a perfect straight line for different sized teeth and different lead angles. But they only give 3 points: beginning, end and middle.
