Word 97 Update: Macro Vulnerability

Word 97 Update: Macro Vulnerability

I need the WD97MCRS.exe Word 97 Update: Macro Vulnerability, May 2001
Language version: Polish

It used to be available for download from office.microsoft.com/downloads/9798/Wd97mcrs.aspx but it is no longer there, no luck finding it elsewhere (Polish version) either.

Any help will be much appreciated.

RE: Word 97 Update: Macro Vulnerability

I've only ever seen wd97mcrs in English. If you do a search, you will find some sites that have it available for download. Sometimes a language specific patch is not required. The site you are pointing to doesn't seem to have any language marking so it is possibly generic and works in all languages.

Have you checked whether the English version works for you?

RE: Word 97 Update: Macro Vulnerability

The site I'm pointing to used to have a language selection button. The download started after the language had been selected.
After the English version is installed, all the menus are in English, and it is not good for the users.

RE: Word 97 Update: Macro Vulnerability

Tried that already, but it looks like the language selection button had prevented the actual file from being saved.
