Hello All,

I need some 28" Pipe w/ 5/8" or 3/4" wall thickness fabricated from a material with min yield of 50ksi or greater.

ASME B31.3 shows many grades which meet the material requirements, but I am not sure if any of them come as seamless 28".

I would relax my requirements to ERW if I could still purchase this material in pipe form.

At the dimensions I'm looking for am I limited to rolled and welded plate to form this pipe?

I should add that I will only need 20 or 40 feet of this pipe for my project.

Thanks!

API 5LX-52 is available in welded pipe. I believe that there is at least one mill in the USA that supplies seamless. I would suggest that you request various pipe supply houses for your pipe needs.

28 inch is an odd size so might not be commonly available. You need to contact some local pipe stockists to see what they have in stock. No one is going to make one length.

Thanks everyone. I will reach out to a few places for the X52 grade and see what I can find.

BTW, if anyone has any rolling around, I'd be interested in purchasing it! :-)

Thanks Again

You won't be interested after you pay for transport and import duty.
