Getting 01 to display

Getting 01 to display

(OP)
This might seem trivial...but does anyone know how to get 01 to diplay in the cell when the cell is formated as a Number?

RE: Getting 01 to display

One way is to use a custom format

   0#

The single digit numbers 1 through 9 will display with leading 0.

This way, the cell is still a numerical value - so it can be used in calculations.

RE: Getting 01 to display

Set a custom format of 00.### and it will always display two number with up to 3 decimal places. The 0 dictates the value will be shown and # dictates the number will be shown if it exists.
