RE: Error: Failed to find baud and parity

Is it a new cable? Flipping the transmit and receive wires is a possibility.

RE: Error: Failed to find baud and parity

Look at computer-properties-hardware-device manager. Look for Ports. Your USB port should show up. Click on it and check if the "Device is Working Properly". Check the baud rate, parity, etc settings, as well as the Com port number. Match them with the RS-Linx settings.
