Moving Pop up Dialog Box

Moving Pop up Dialog Box

Moving Pop up Dialog Box

Hi Everyone!

Apologies in advanced if this is a really easy fix, I am still new to Femap and cannot seem to find a simple solution.
My issue is due to the various femap dialog boxes popping up in the middle of my view window and constantly getting into my way.
It seems no matter how many times I drag the box off to the side, I cannot seem to lock it into position.
So when the next time I perform a command that requires a dialog box of some sort, it will reappear again in the centre of the viewing window.

RE: Moving Pop up Dialog Box

If you open File-Preferences, under the label "User Inteface" there is a group "Menues and Dialog Boxes". In that group there is a option "Remember Dialog Positions".

If you check that box it might help you.

Good Luck

RE: Moving Pop up Dialog Box

Ahhh... Thanks Thoas!
I cant believe I missed that option in preferences.
Many Thanks
