Controlling Drawing Signatures

Controlling Drawing Signatures

Controlling Drawing Signatures

(OP)
The company I work for presently uses AutoCAD 2000i and Inventor.  We are currently developing a QA manual, and are also starting to supply customers with electronic copies of drawings.  We are just now starting to address how to control electronically "signing" a drawing (drawn by, reviewed by, approved by, etc) and have concerns about how to make sure that the "signature" can't be changed or used by anyone other than the appropriate person.

I would appreciate any help and/or links to information.

RE: Controlling Drawing Signatures

A company called Web4engineers makes a product called eReview which can handle this sort of thing. Check out www.ereviewonline.com.
