Hello,

I've been working on modeling a scooter. now I'm on the stage where I need to analyse the suspension systems I've designed theoretically on paper.

well, I know the procedure for structural analysis ( as done on chassis) but the suspension is a flexible body that might need different solver in Nastran (I don't know exactly).

So the question is how to analyse this system on Nastran accurately? I'll be thankful for your help

Hi, you might need to better describe what load case you want to analyze: geometry, loads, constraints and what kind of result you expect.

Hi Wnuczko

I'll explain you the whole system;

There is a assembly containing part: damper and spring. The whole system will be in inertia relief, but the spring has to be constrained between the damper. now the top part of the whole assembly shall be fixed and a cyclic load at the bottom point is to be applied.

or to make the system simple, we can do analysis on spring itself and look out for the deflection and durability at cyclic load.

Ultimately, I want any result relevant to the system that I could get from the analysis

Thank you
