As it said in the Subject of the thread, that I lack guidance on which version/package of matlab that support deploytool, as i want to make standalone application.

It turn out to be hard to find out. Will i need the Builder(basic package) and the 'MATLAB Compiler - pakage', or is the builder sufficient enough?

I ask this question because I've got a job to the first, and I need to program in matlab and generates an .exe file that my colleagues can run without matlab, and I was set to find correct version of matlab to do so.

This is my first post, but I have often found help in here. Hope this post is not inappropriate for this forum.

Thanks for your help in advance.

RE: Matlab "deploytool" what package include this function.

As your google search would have told you it is part of Matlab Production Server, about which I know nothing. But to make a standalone app you don't need that, you need any one of these.

MATLAB Compiler
MATLAB Builder NE (for Microsoft .NET Framework)
MATLAB Builder JA (for Java language)
MATLAB Builder EX (for Microsoft Excel)
Spreadsheet Link EX (for Microsoft Excel)
MATLAB Production Server

We use the first.
