In the referenced thread, there is mention of a powerpoint file from Staubli with good instructions on how to get my CS8C on DeviceNet. I have scoured the Staubli technical database and haven't found anything very helpful. I have also spoken with the Staubli Application Engineer (J. Cook) and... also not very helpful.
Can anyone here help me out with getting my CS8C controller on DeviceNet? I have the DeviceNet PCI card. I have used the applicom console to creat a configuration for the DeviceNet board. I have exported the config to an XML file, but I am unable to download the configuration to the board's flash.... I get an error message telling me that initialization failed. I can't restart the board because the FieldBus menu does not appear for me on the pendant under control panel->I/O....
Any thoughts?
