Laser + sensor

Laser + sensor

I'm looking how to construate the instrument discribed follow:
I want to measure water level only during windless periods. Therefore I need that the sensor starts laser distance meter only then and tracking the water level every 1 min until wind strats to bolwing again. The laser readings must save to SD and send to server also. The laser must be waterproof and can work year-round. Working temperature +50...-30 C. The size of laser and sensor, also timer and battery could not be larger than 10x10x10 cm.

Could you suggest where from I could get such instrument or how to constructed it. Maybe you can give detail list about concrate details I need for it. I mean what kind of sensor component and laser components I need. I know that e.g Disto A6 i good for distance tracking but does anyone know how to connect it with server and sensor? Anyway, I need sth like Disto A6 but with other properties described before.

RE: Laser + sensor

The datasheet tells you that it uses Bluetooth for data transfer and comes with software to control and manipulate the data.

It sounds like you're asking for someone to design a system for you for free, which is not the intent of this site.
