Laboratory Instruments Maintenance Support

(OP)

For Following Laboratory Instruments which are 12 years old are presently offline due to reasons shows against them :

1.    Hydrogen Generator  – SOV and Pressure Transducers spares not available.
2.    ICP – OES     - RF Generator is not available with the OEM.
3.    TGA – Thermo gravimetric analyzer – Rotor is not working and in-built balance calibration frequently goes out .

How can we make these instruments operative with spares support from similar application ?

RE: Laboratory Instruments Maintenance Support

It's doubtful the H2 generator vendor manufactured his own pressure transducer.  The valve seals might be a special for hydrogen service, though.

Pull the pressure transmitter and it out for manufacturer ID. Contact the manufacturer to decode the model # for a range, output type, operating voltage, mounting whatever and find a substitute.
