Stress guys are doing their calculations in Caesar using the operation pressure for all the lines.

1. It is correct? Or have they to include a valve back pressure?
It is operations pressure good for all calculations?

2. When the support designer has to check the trunnion, at the relief valve discharge, what pressure will use? Operations? Design? include the force from back pressure shoot? They are using kellog method Excel datasheet for trunnions.

Thank you

Any comments?

they should use worst case. If there is a engineering reason that you could never see maximum pressure, like a pump curve or multiple failures to get to maximum, then use that sub-maximum pressure.
