I do not know if this is the right place to put this, but here goes. I am looking for any suggestions on books for welded steel silo design. I have Tubular Steel Structures by Troitsky from the Lincoln Foundation. Are there any books that may be better for this type of design?

If you can obtain a copy:

Design of Steel Bins for Storage of Bulk Solids; Gaylord

Is a very practical reference.

Alternatives, which are still pretty good:

Useful Information on the Design of Steel Bins and Silos; AISI (John R. Buzek)
Guide for the Economic Design of Circular Metal Silos; Rotter

And there is also the Eurocode: BS EN 1993-4-1
