Nozzle internal design pressure.

The metallic inlet roof nozzle has suffered corrosion from flow erosion. We suggest a temporary repair using composite FRP wrapping. Should we consider the internal design pressure of the tank or that of the piping connected to the nozzle for this repair? The tank's internal design pressure is 0.0075 Barg, while the piping's is 9.7 Barg.

The design pressure of the tank 0.0075 Barg, ( atmospheric tank ) so the pressure which can develop at piping will be around zero. You may consider also epoxy based repair as long as for temporary purpose.
