hi,

Does anyone have experience in using CTE, FBE, 3XLPE and PU or PP coating, for pipeline protection purpose? I'd like to have your opinion and advice for material selection for application in the Gulf (offshore UAE). if you could give me a brief advantages/disadvantages info, this would be very handy for me.

Thanks.

RE: subsea pipeline anti-corrosion coatings

A very good coating system is Placite 7122 LAR or Placite 7122 HAR for seawater service.  However further understanding of the application is needed.  PU is used in some areas with success but it has it's limitationa and problems

RE: subsea pipeline anti-corrosion coatings

corrosion info on catv aluminum cable without jacket. is it apt to corrode/pit more than copper? This is under normal circumstances.
