Is there a decent site that will allow me to assess suitability of WCB for use with certain media in pipeline systems and valves?

Check Chemicl engineering Hand Book (Perry) this gives usability of various material in various media. WCB is a common CS material, if you could get hold of ASME Sec II D then you could get the allowable stresses at different temperatures for designing purpose. Also ANSI B 31.3 could provide you with necessary information.

If you do not have Chemical Engineering Hand Book give the application i'll try to look and post you.

Good Luck
