Help with MathCAD document review

Help with MathCAD document review

Help with MathCAD document review

I have entered the ASME Appendix 13 calculations for a rectangular pressure vessel per sketch 1 into MathCAD.

Would anyone be interested in reviewing this document for me making any suggestions for improvements?

Send me your email address and I will send you my file.

RE: Help with MathCAD document review

Do you want suggestions about MathCAD, or comments on the calculations themselves?

RE: Help with MathCAD document review

I would appreciate comments concerning both.
My ASME calculation accuracy, also ways to format my document.
What kind of layout would work best for this type of application.
Should I add sketches?

RE: Help with MathCAD document review

Yes, I think you should add sketches. That's mathcad's biggest weakness in my opinion.

I can comment on your MathCAD techniques, but have no idea what calculations you are doing. email is greglocock@liquidinformation.com

If you are using US units beware.  Mathcad calculations using US units are not entirely accurate.

RE: Help with MathCAD document review

Do you have examples?  I've yet to see any problem.
