What are theese hydraulic devices

What are theese hydraulic devices

What are theese hydraulic devices

I wonder if somebody on this forum can tell spot what theese adjustable hydraulic devices are ? (See pic): http://www.flickr.com/photos/14275989@N00/305132319/

The devices are inserted into a hydraulic block and looks like they are adjustable. Some numbers are written next to the devices on the hydraulic block with a permanent marker. Perhaps pressure ? Flow ? Looks like some calibration tags or something. The hydraulic block is fed by a double set of hydraulic gear pumps. It has a servo valve for flow control and theese are mounted under the block.

Could it be relief valves ?

Flow or pressure valves ?

Any hints would be appreciated !

Morten Hansen

RE: What are theese hydraulic devices

"Could it be relief valves ?"

YES!!!

"Flow or pressure valves ?"

YES!!!

Since these type valves usually have an adjustment as shown in your picture. Also, other valves, such as Pilot Operated Check valves may have what appears to be an adjustment but is actually a manual release control.

Many of these Screw-In Cartridge valves have information stamped on one of the flats on the hex sections. If you can see the manifold check out the Flats.

I checked six manufacturers catalogs on Screw-In Cartridge valves and did not see any with the configuration shown in your picture. Needless to say I may not know about all the companies, especially non US, who make Slip-In Cartridge valves.

Are there any other way you could scan and put the catalog page on flicker.com or something ?

Alternatively: Do you have a link to the manufacturers site or the name of the manufacturer ?

regards
Morten

White Paper – Data Security and Know-How Protection
Our data is constantly exposed to the danger of being intercepted or stolen as it wends its way over global data networks. Data security measures and measures for protecting intellectual property should not, however, first be implemented when data is exchanged – companies must lay the foundation for these measures within their own organization. The influence exerted by the Internet of Things (IoT) means that there is a steadily growing need for collaboration in industry. White Paper – The Challenges of PLM Collaboration
There is cross-company collaboration - and then there is cross-company collaboration.
