Is there a freeware program available that will open files for viewing only?

(Didn't see this in the faq so my apologies if it's asked often).

MathCad explorer can be downloaded from here http://www.ecs.soton.ac.uk/~msn/book/worksheets.html

If not, do a google search on Mathcad viewer free

The Mathcad Explorer referenced in the above link is probably only good for up version 8. Mathsoft discontinued support of the viewer for the more recent versions.

unfortunately IR is correct. The viewer does not open the recent files.

Your only hope, then is to get the originator to save it as an HTML or PDF file.
