Grills on flush or submerged air intakes
Grills on flush or submerged air intakes
(OP)
Hi All,
I'm looking at a high subsonic system with a ramped flush mounted air intake. I've managed to get something with acceptable pressure and mass flow recoveries but now the customer wants to fit a grill over it (in line with the outer mould line). I know from experience that this is not on but I cannot find any engineering references which will help me define the performance drop off. Anyone out there able to help?
