I have a roof mounted steel equipment platform that will have a three-sided steel stud framed screen wall with Z brick facing on the outside mounted over marine plywood. There is no roof, and the interior of the wall will be faced with a horizontal metal lap siding.
We are concerned with calcium leaching from the mortar and staining the wall and roof below. The question is, how do you control, or preferably, eliminate this leaching?
