Wood truss webbing chamfer

Good afternoon,

I am in process of DIYing some small wood trusses (4m) for a concrete pile and beam (truss) small garden shed. I am partly stuck at choosing the chamfer of the webbing. All cuts 45deg. Is is better with double chamfers or plain ones? If I make double ones, the nodes (mid chords) are not aligned properly anymore and I think that would allow generating some bending moments in the diagonals.

It sounds like you answered your own question. It's better for the work point to be at the center all the members.

It will also allow your (I'm assuming) plywood gussets to be more size efficient to get the required nailing.
