Hello everyone,

I want to numerically model the wake (near and far wake) of a wind turbine. Where do I begin my research on this topic? How much knowledge should I have to perform this?

Thanks for your answers!

You could start with Wind Power Plants, by Robert Gasch and Jochen Twele.
The NREL has published literature on WT modeling for decades, and has even written design codes which you might find useful.
