The following reinforcement chart found in a book, is for the calculation of area of steel required, for concrete columns for Eurocode2.
However, I also found some other equations as well which can be used instead of the above charts (from a video).
My questions are
1. Where can I find those equations and the charts above (the clause numbers/page number etc) in `Eurocode` or any other `british standard (8110)` etc, I didn't notice them in those.
2. I prefer to use the equations, but some books mention it's not realistically possible to directly calculate the values through equations only, what is the reason. Is it because the equations outputs inaccurate results?
3. Is there any other equations that I can use to avoid using the charts (in accordance with eurocode or british standards).
