I have reloaded SW 2010 for my former employer. When we open an assembly the program tries to load seemingly every assembly we ever worked on. This happened before. There is some simple change to make to clear this up, like deleting a data file or changing an option, but I can't for the life of me remember what it is. Could someone point me in the right direction for this, please?

The only thing I can think of is the Tools > Options > System Options > External References --- Load referenced documents option. try setting that to None.

Changing the options was all I could think of, too but wasn't there a file to delete? Where does SW save the list of files most recently worked on?

That file is in the registry, but (AFAIK) it can only contain 9 or 16 entries ... depending on the OS and SW version.

Check out HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > SolidWorks > SolidWorks 2012 > Recent File List

Thanks, CBL, I'll get to that computer Friday.
