Does anyone know where I can find a surrogate wheelchair? I am designing a wheelchair tie-down system for transit buses and motor homes and I have discovered that we must crash test our wheelchair restraint system using a specific “surrogate wheelchair”. I was hoping that I could rent a surrogate wheelchair rather than having one built.

I am also interested in information on the legal standards (if any) for vibration and shock which apply to passengers of school or transit buses.

Has any testing on wheelchair bound people concerning shock or vibration in any moving vehicle ever been done?

I would like to hear from any wheelchair bound engineers, concerning their experiences with mass transit
