Hi everybody,

With all you experienced professionals out there, I figured this would be the place to ask a few questions about careers in a refinery. Just a little background: I'm a Mechanical Engineering Major set to graduate soon and have been considering the oil and gas industry for quite some time. I've been looking into upstream engineering jobs for the most part, but a few downstream jobs have come along. If you have experience with Refining, Marketing & Transportation Engineering or Mechanical Reliability Engineering, would you mind sharing your experiences with me? What do you do on a daily basis? Do you enjoy it? Why/why not? Anything you have to say about these positions, I'm all ears!

Thank you for any insight!
