Whats the differensies running CatiaV5 on W2K or XP?

Hi!

I wonder if anoyone had some experiences that motivates running Catia V5 on XP instead of W2000?
(We are today running V5R13 SP5 on W2000)

Hi,

You can do better with XP.

I am working with R12SP4.

With XP I was able to save some CATPart as .model (those did not work under w2k).

I was able to make bigger drawing with only 2G of memory and even much much more with 4G and the /3Gb patch for XP.

Go for it...
